Plastic Body Strain Dead End Clamp

These Plastic Body Strain Dead End Clamps are made of one opened conical fibre glass reinforced body, a pair of plastic wedges and a flexible bail. Different sizes offer a wide range of gripping capacities and mechanical resistances to fit the various ADSS cable designs. The inner wedges consisting two insulating plastic wedges ensuring the clamping of the neutral messenger without damaging cable insulation, is designed to fix low voltage aerial bundled conductors.

The plastic body is made of high strength PA66, nylon plus fiber glass, the body materials are UV-resistant.The plastic body strain dead end clamps are designed to supporting the neutral messenger, the wedge can be self-adjusting.

Cable gripping device in insulating material ensures the double insulation of the neutral core and avoids damage to wedge, secured parts. Normally are round cable and ADSS in a certain position against the effects of static load, thermal stress, mechanical rotation or vibration.

It is tested and certified so that it complies with all standards for cable accessories. Stainless steel or iron bail is available up to customer’s request.
